Dale Treadwell of Naturally Wild is well known for his RTEjr Television slots with Albie the Why Guy and Dustin the Turkey featuring wildlife to be found in Irish Back gardens, he has designed and built two Bloom children’s garden features and is the Author of Harry the Hedgehog ‘will you be my friend’ and Robby the Christmas Robin ‘is not in a Christmas mood’. Dino’s Down under takes us back to Dale’s childhood back garden of Australia but with a twist it is from 100 million years ago, Dale will be joined by some realistic Cretaceous Creatures on this interactive presentation. Roll up, roll up and explore the science behind the thrills and spills of the circus. Dr Ken takes you on a voyage of discovery investigating how performers make use of many scientific principles in their tricks and stunts. Find out why jugglers love gravity, how clowns use the force like a Jedi and why unicyclists need to keep moving to stay still. Explore the science of Ireland’s coastline and the life in the sea all around us. Students get to see and hold a real shark’s tooth and to safely touch and see smaller marine creatures and learn to understand Ireland’s marine ecosytem and the science behind various conservation and research efforts.
