Join Midlands Science and the fantastic Bohemian String Quartet for an evening of music and learn about the science of music.

Join Midlands Science and the fantastic Bohemian String Quartet for an evening of music. Sit back and enjoy a range of popular tunes, movie themes and classical hits with MC Dr Craig Slattery, a science communicator and music fan. Between tunes, we’ll hear a little about why we all love music so much, what happens in our brain when we listen to music and how we can use music to help us when we are feeling stressed. So come along to this free concert and learn a little about the science of music, while you sing along with your favourite tunes.

Bohemian Strings have performed with Brian Wilson of the Be

ach Boys, Mick Flannery, Richard Clayderman and many more. This evening exploring the science of music will include classic hits from the Beatles, the Beach Boys, Depeche Mode, the score from the Mission and a number of classical favourites.
