“What Happens Next ?” is an interactive lecture suitable for primary school classes from 4th class up. In the presentations a series of simple experiments (most of which can be repeated at home or school), are demonstrated, but paused at a critical point and students asked to predict what will happen next? They can think individually or in a group. Once predictions are collected the experiment continues and we find out who was correct. The experiments often have quite unexpected outcomes, which enables further discussion or experimentation to take place. Subjects covered include forces, light and reflections, heat transfer. and electricity.
