Why not try the 10 cent challenge!
As part of Maths Week 2022 we ran an online challenge for schools across the Midlands. This competition has now finished but you can still have fun with the 10c challenge in your school. This is a great chance to get your students thinking about Maths in a fun and interactive way!
How it works: Get each of your students to bring a 10c coin to school, lay all the coins together in one line and figure out how long the line is! Ask your students to predict the answer before you do the calculations. You could get them to work out the total length, weight or distance covered by the coins.
